Celebrity Playlist: Kristen Stewart's Favorite Songs (Zimbio)

Kristen Stewart has said that the music she listens to on a project influences her work on set, telling SPIN in 2009, "I think about it quite a bit when I'm working."

So what's Kristen listening to, then?

Though Stewart has a demonstrated love of vintage band tees and hoodies, she's been sticking to more contemporary artists of late. At least that was the case at South by Southwest when she told USA Today, "I listen to The Shins and Radiohead and Interpol. And we saw Band of Horses last night, and that was awesome, because they're, like, my favorite band right now. I love Camera Obscura and Jenny Lewis."

When she was on the New Moon set, however, Stewart was interested in darker fare. She claimed to have listened to a song by Aussie singer-songwriter Sia back to back with Joy Division's "Shadowplay" incessantly while in Italy. Kristen has also been spotted hanging out at concerts by Kings of Leon and San Antonio's pride and joy, Girl in a Coma.

Although Kristen plays guitar and sings — as evidenced by her roles in Into the Wild and The Runaways — don't expect her to start a band of her own anytime soon. She's way too private, telling USA Today, "I'm used to making movies and having people take that from me. But to have my thing be somebody else's experience right now ... I could never be in a band. I feel the same way. I could only ever do that playing somebody else."

Below, find our recommendations for Kristen Stewart fans who want to become more familiar with the actress' musical favorites!

1. Girl in a Coma, "Their Cell"
Kristen was spotted in the audience at this San Antonio, Texas-based band's SXSW performance in 2009. The local heroes were signed to Joan Jett's Blackheart Records in 2006 after she saw them play at NYC's The Knitting Factory.

Try not to fall in love with frontwoman Nina Diaz's inimitable voice, and be sure to catch them later this year when they open for The GoGo's.

2. Radiohead, "All I Need"
For those poor unfortunate souls who haven't yet discovered Radiohead, here's one of the more haunting tracks off of the British band's 2007 album In Rainbows.

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke had one of his songs featured on the soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

3. Band of Horses, "Infinite Arms"
Band of Horses' studio work is pretty spectacular, but they're a terrific group to see live. Just check out this recording of a performance at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Hooked? Check out "The Funeral," which has been featured on a number of television series popular with Twilight fans, including Gossip Girl, My Life as Liz, One Tree Hill and 90210.
