Vancouver Sun informs that Twilight's Rachelle Lefevre is to star in big-budget Canadian film together with Adrien Brody and Isabelle Adjani.
The film, to be directed by Pierre Gill, is based on the true story of Baron Von Kempelen, a Hungarian engineer who invented a machine to play chess, called The Turk, in the late 18th century.
The Baron is played by Adrien Brody. Rachelle Lefevre will play his wife Annette and Isabelle Adjani will portray the Russian Queen.
Filming will begin in the fall of 2010 or spring of 2011
