MAE award winners: Kristen Stewart, Adventureland, Anna Kendrick, Taylor Lautner, New Moon

New York, NY, January 31, 2010 - On 31 January 2010 MOSAEC.com (MOSAEC) announced the winners of its 3rd annual awards. The Hearing MOSAEC chose the winners of the Excellence which were determined after two weeks of online voting, in which the public chose from lists of eligible candidates in the traditional "Best of" categories, as well as several contemporary categories.

The public chose The Hangover as best comedy or musical and Avatar as the best drama. Up in the Air, received several acting awards. Besides the award for Best Actor George Clooney, Anna Kendrick was awarded Best Supporting Actress and Best Performance Award Outstanding. Moreover, Kristen Stewart was overwhelmingly voted the best young actor or actress (under 21). Stewart also shared a prize with his co-star Adventureland, Jesse Eisenberg, in the category of Best Intimate Portrait screen.

Meryl Streep was named best actress for their fantastic film incarnation of the iconic Julia Child in Julie & Julia. Matt Damon beat all contenders in the supporting actor category, winning for his performance as Francois Pienaar in Clint Eastwood's Invictus. Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story won top honors for his documentary-driven economy.

In television categories, Family Guy was voted best television comedy and Tina Fey won the award for best TV actress for the second time. HBO's True Blood was voted Best Television Drama. MOSAEC audience chose Hugh Laurie (House) as the best TV actor and Amy Poehler as best supporting actress on television.
