When we first caught a glimpse of Twilight: The Graphic Novel Volume 1 were were a little unsure. But now that we've seen it in person, held it in our hands and flipped through all 224 pages of its glossy goodness, we're in love.
"It's simply beautiful," Stephenie Meyer wrote on the books dedication page. "Working with Young [Kim] was always very exciting, but more than that, it brought me back to my first Twilight experience. She would send me a new set of drawings, some portrait of Edward or Bella would jump off the page and suddenly I would be feeling all the same things I felt that first summer while I was writing their story. The art made it fresh again."
The experience of reading 'Twilight: The Graphic Novel' is anything but typical. It's like a comic book, but it's hardcover. It's such a familiar story, but it's different. There are so many gorgeous illustrations on each page, but the words jump off the pages because they are Stephenie Meyer's original words from the first book. It's really kinda beautiful.
