Kristen Stewart, who stars The Twilight Saga vampire films alongside Robert Pattinson as well as the recently released rock biopic The Runaways is going "On The Road".
At least, that is the name of a new movie she has reportedly signed up for, which is based on Jack Kerouac's 1950's cult novel that celebrates the Beat Generation and tells of a young man's travels in the United States. The film is set for release in 2011.
Stewart, 20, will portray Marylou, the wife of one of the main characters, Dean Moriarty, The Hollywood Reporter says, adding that filming is set to begin in August. There was no immediate confirmation from Stewart or her spokespeople.
Moriarty will be played by Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley stars as Kerouac's alter ego in the story, Sal Paradis. Brazilian director Walter Salles is set to direct the movie.
Stewart reprises her role as mortal teen Bella in Twilight's third film Eclipse, which is due in theaters on June 30, as well as its fourth installment, Breaking Dawn, which was recently given a release date of November 18, 2011.
