MTV Movie Awards - what's the status with the nominees?

If you had not heard The Runaways/New Moon/Remember Me/Kristen/Dakota/Taylor & Rob were on the pre-nominations list in several categories - pre nominations were announced on April 19th (initial voting for pre-nominees opened on March 29th). The list of pre-nominees is now posted on MTV's official site here.

Now don't think that's it. There's a second round of voting and this is the one that counts. MTV will post the final list of nominees on May 12 and Voting for WINNERS will start then and run through June 5; results will be announced on the LIVE show on June 6. (voting for Best Movie will stay open throughout the awards show itself — meaning you'll have a chance to affect the night's biggest prize until the very last minute)
