2010 MTV Movie Awards First Act: Kristen Stewart Vs. Zoe Saldana

UNIVERSAL CITY, California -- All week long, we've been running around the Gibson Amphitheatre as the 2010 MTV Movie Awards come to life in front of our eyes: the celebrity participants, the action-packed performances, the oodles of surprise moments that we've got in store for you come Sunday night's live show. And at every turn, we've been bringing you Movie Awards teasers about it all.

Then it hit us: Enough with these nuggets of insidery goodness! Let's just pull back the curtain and tell you exactly what's in the pipeline for the show's first act.

The Movie Awards will kick off with a special message from the show's tough-talking executive producer Les Grossman. You'll then see the list of celebs appearing during the show -- names like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean "Diddy" Combs and many more.

It wouldn't be a proper Movie Awards without a slew of movie spoofs, and that's exactly what you'll get next. Host Aziz Ansari will be popping up in twisted takes on the year's top films. Which flicks will he spoof? Stay tuned. (You didn't think we'd tell you everything, did you?)

From there, Aziz will make an over-the-top entrance. "He'll arrive onstage in a special vehicle," hinted supervising producer Jane Mun. "It's a surprise."

Once onstage, Aziz will launch into his monologue. Following the host's string of jokes, the cast of "Grown Ups" -- Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider -- will take the stage. "They have a really fun onstage script that they have been crafting for the last two weeks," Mun said.

And then it's time for the first award of the evening: Best Female Performance. Kristen Stewart ("New Moon") will face off against Amanda Seyfried ("Dear John"), Emma Watson ("Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"), Sandra Bullock ("The Blind Side") and Zoe Saldana ("Avatar").

While the winner of that award will have already been decided by the time the show starts at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 6, the Best Movie category will remain open for fan voting throughout the show. And that's how we'll end the first act of the Movie Awards: with a reminder to get out the vote for your favorite film.
