Fans tweet about the Love Triangle in Eclipse after seeing the movie (SPOILERS)

I have been reading people’s reactions to comments by the actors on the “Love Triangle” in Eclipse. I have seen the movie and I will tell you this (Spoiler Alert):

The “Triangle” is not as hot and heavy as you would think. We don’t even see Jacob until 15 minutes into the movie and believe me that for the entire movie he is annoying. The way Jacob is portrayed, is that of a defiant child and he is much more brooding that Edward. I think you will all be pleasantly surprised at how indifferent Bella is. I think Kristen played it in such a way that you know her feelings for Edward are real, never wavering and what she mostly feels around Jacob is guilt. I never felt that she was torn between who to be with, but that she knew he was a great guy who deserved her love, but it just was not going to happen. Yes she cares about Jacob and does not want him hurt, but her need for Edward and her unconditional love is most apparent. After the tent scene when Jacob finds out about the engagement and Bella goes after him, the kiss was nothing special. I would say Tay looked like he was eating her mouth (and not in a good way). Kristen defintely did not act as comfortable as she does with Rob (no surprise), but it seemed awkward NOT like this passionate kiss that was described in the book. Even in the end when Jacob is hurt (Bella is upset) but when she goes to see him, she is just sad, sad that she can’t be what he wants (even though he intially thinks she may change her mind). We see a girl deeply sorry for not being able to return his feelings and a girl VERY SURE of who she wants to be with. We don’t see Bella crying for a day (in fact I don’t think she even cried when she left Jacob’s house). Next thing we see is Bella and Edward in their field talking about the wedding. Of course Edward tells her she should not do this for everyone and she goes on to explain very simply why this is right and why there is not doubt in her mind that she belongs with Edward.

In terms of what the actors have to say, they are appealing to two sets of fanbases and they have to make it more than it is. New Moon was more heavily Jacob centered, where I believe Eclipse is all about Edward and HONESTLY, I think Robert was the best out of the three of them. He did a great job at expressing his emotions on all sides and his acting went up a notch in this movie.

Don’t worry about Team Jacob and Team Edward, once you see this movie, there is no doubt what Bella wants. Some really great E/B moments much more intense than other movies and I truly believe you will be satisfied.
