Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson kind of kiss as 'Twilight' dominates the 2010 MTV Movie Awards

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart finally kissed in public? Well, kind of. The stars who won best kiss at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards gave it an awkward try as the fans laughed. "We'll give it a try," said Kristen Stewart who claimed it takes a lot of "smoke and mirrors" for herself and rumored boyfriend Robert Pattinson to "look good kissing."

The 'Twilight' stars dominated the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Not just for the awards they won but for the buzz they generated. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are the mega popular stars of the 'The Twilight Saga' movies.

Sunday at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner not only won awards they also fired up the crowd. The 'Twilight Saga' stars were their representing 'New Moon' which came out last November.

Pattinson, Stewart, and Lautner were also there to promote the newest film in the saga, Eclipse. The ultra famous trio debuted brand new footage of 'Eclipse' which the fans in the house loved, and the fans at home tweeted about.

In the opening scenes of the awards Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson made fans laugh as they portrayed 'Bad Ass Cops' for Tom Cruise's Les Grossman character. MTV Awards host Aziz Ansari then included Twilight into his opening monolouge as he made fun of the charaters in good fun.

'New Moon' was nominated for five 2010 MTV Movie Awards out of the five they took home most of them with Kristen Stewart winning the first award of the night for best female performance in 'New Moon.' Stewart gave an awkward acceptance speech but was sitting next to Robert Pattinson which made many Clevelanders take to Twitter to tweet about how much they looked like a couple.

The second award of the night went to 'Twilight' star Anna Kendrick for her role in 'Up In the Air' where she starred with George Clooney. Soon after Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won the award for Best Kiss and gave it their best shot, which fans wanted to see.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been rumored to have an off screen relationship for the last two years. Rumors really took off after Kristen Stewart and her long time boyfriend Michael Angarano broke up. Not too long after that Stewart and Pattinson were seen in a number of compromising situations. With Sunday night's "kiss" on stage at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards those rumors are not going away anytime soon.
