Twilight star Chaske Spencer will serve as one of the major drawcards of the Supanova Pop Culture Expo when it sets up camp under The Dome at Sydney Olympic Park on June 19 and 20.
Fans will get the chance to meet Spencer and a host of other stars of the science-fiction/fantasy world as part of the two-day convention.
Spencer, who plays Sam Uley in the second Twilight film, New Moon, and the soon-to-be-released third instalment, Eclipse, said he enjoyed meeting the fans.
``They're hardcore,'' he said. ``Without them I don't have a job. I remember when I was a kid I wanted to meet Janes Addiction and Faith No More and Soundgarden.
``When you're a kid it means a lot, so in a way it's good to give back. And plus, you see kids that light up when you come on stage and then you know what it's all for. It's a good feeling.''
Joining Spencer at Supanova will be Dollhouse stars Eliza Dushku and Tahmoh Penniket, Charisma Carpenter [Cordelia Chase from Buffy and Angel], Allan Hyde [True Blood], sound effects maestro Michael Winslow, and the original Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno.
A number of animation voice actors and comic book creators will also appear.
As well as meet-and-greets and autograph sessions, fans will be treated to behind-the-scenes talks and insights into the creation of their sources of obsession.
