OTRC: Peter Facinelli says he would allow young daughter to watch 'Eclipse'

Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the adoptive father of Robert Pattinson's vampire Edward, in the Twilight Saga films, says he would allow his six-year-old daughter to watch the upcoming third movie Eclipse but would be cautious.

"It all depends on what you want your kid to see," he said. "There are maybe one or two scenes I could cover her eyes for and there's a lot of it I think she'd enjoy."

Facinelli, who has two other daughters aged about 3 and 12 with wife and actress Jennie Garth of 90210 fame, made his comments to George Pennacchio of KABC Television, OnTheRedCarpet.com's parent company.
Eclipse is being touted as darker and more action-packed than its previous two installments, Twilight and New Moon. Eclipse is set to be released on June 30 and is "very suspenseful" but has good comedic elements, according to actor Taylor Lautner, who plays the werewolf Jacob.
