Peter Facinelli Says Dr. Carlisle Cullen Gets To Battle...(video)

Peter Facinelli says his Twilight character, Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the adoptive father of Robert Pattinson's vampire Edward, gets to "roll his sleeves up and go do some battle" in Eclipse, the third movie in the series that is set to be released on June 30.

"I mean, he’s supposed to be the most compassionate man in the world, so I made sure that every time I beat someone up, I said, ‘Sorry’, in my head," Facinelli told On The Red Carpet's Chris Balish at the recent premiere for Disneyland's California Adventure's new attraction, World of Color.


Facinelli said he and his Twilight Saga co-stars enjoy each other's company off-camera.
"Sometimes just we hang out in each other’s places," he said. "The first night we were back on New Moon, I cooked everyone dinner, so it was nice."

He said all three of his and 90210 actress Jennie Garth's daughters - aged 3 to 12, have seen the Twilight Saga films. The fourth installment, Breaking Dawn, is set to be released as two separate films, Summit Entertainment recently announced.
