Charlie Bewley explains what he's looking forward to with 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn'

Charlie Bewley, who portrays "Demetri" in the series, had an interview with the New York Post where he talked about the fact that this group (and "Demetri" alone in many ways) becomes more of a figure in the story of Breaking Dawn.

"It’s the big showdown – it’s Volturi vs everyone else. We’ve been introduced in 'New Moon,' we’ve overseen 'Eclipse,' now is the time we’ll kick some ass. And Demetri tracks down the new kid that Rob & Kristen’s characters have. It’ll be interesting to see what degree he’s involved," he explained.

It's true that Bewley's character and the Volturi are of elevated importance to the story in Breaking Dawn (presumably part two where the films are concerned) because they present the greatest (and most final where the series is concerned) threat to the Culens in the story.

So, it should certainly be interesting to see Volturi actors like Charlie Bewley with an enhanced role in the films.

Note that Bewley also remarked on the potential for Breaking Dawn to be shot in 3-D, saying "I would say that if the second half of 'Breaking Dawn' incorporated enough action to warrant 3D, then I don’t see why not – it’s a wonderful medium and it’s doing a lot for our industry. It could make for a great finale."
