Xavier Samuel Talks About Playing the Guitar w/ Rob

New Twi­light hunk Xavier Samuel has told how he and Robert Pat­tin­son have formed the world’s hottest gui­tar band.

The Aus­tralian, who plays bad boy Riley in Twi­light: Eclipse, says he plays gui­tar with his co-stars Pat­tin­son and Jack­son Rath­bone to help relax.

But sadly for Twilight’s legion of female fans, they have no plans to take to the road.

Speak­ing about jam­ming with Pat­tin­son, Samuel said: “We do play together when we get the chance. Espe­cially Jack­son and Rob (Pat­tin­son). They play the gui­tar but we’re not going to start a boy band or any­thing like that.”

Grow­ing up in Ade­laide, Samuel sang with local band Hya­tus, then called Degrees of Freedom.

But he now wants to con­cen­trate on act­ing, say­ing: “I don’t have any aspi­ra­tions of becom­ing a musi­cian or a rock star or any­thing like that but I take the gui­tar with me because it helps me wind down.”
