We all know that Twilight couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are very popular across the globe as Edward and Bella, the names of the characters which the duo play in the superhit vampire sage. And now the Twilight Series has added another feather in its already full cap as the series has now become the subject of a women’s studies course at California State University. The Twilight class examines relationships, race, sex, gender issues, and more. The students of the university believe that the dynamic of Edward and Bella’s relationship is extraordinary and their is something more than meets the eye. A student said that Edward is a very dominant and abusive character, although he comes across as a very silent person.
Not only CSU, some other universities across the US have also started classes on unlikely. At one university, there’s a class based on Mad Men, the series made legendary by none other than Mel Gibson. At another university, there’s a “Gaga for Gaga” class which examines the art, performance, and lyrics of the Lady Gaga, who is well known for outrageous dress sense.
If things will continue like this then very soon we will hear that some university has started classes on understanding the outrageous behavior of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and others.
I think Pattinson and Kristen must be happy to know that their on screen relationship will now be studied in a reputed university. What do you think? Should not Pattinson and Stewart visit the university to encourage the student? I think so.
