In an interview with FEARnet during Eclipse promos back June, Twilight producer, Wyck Godfrey stated he "would love" for Kristen to play the starring role in the upcoming remake of Martyrs (a film being produced by him).
LATimes is now reporting exclusively that a director for the film has been hired: Daniel Stamm. And that Daniel is dismissing the Internet rumor that Kristen Stewart could be starring in the remake, laughing and quizzically saying that it's "the first time I've heard that."
