Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Bill Condon in Paraty: BREAKING DAWN's Isle Esme
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have left the Copacabana Palace (surrounded by heavy security and screaming fans) and are now staying at the fiercely guarded Pousada do Ouro ("Gold's Inn") while working on Bill Condon's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in Paraty, a small colonial town south of the city of Rio de Janeiro, according to Revista Quem.
As per Paraty's Tourism Office, filming will take place near a waterfall in the Taquari area and in a mansion on the Saco do Mamanguá ("Bag of the Mamanguá"??) beach.
Paraty is Breaking Dawn's real-life setting of the fictional Isle Esme, where Pattinson's Edward Cullen and Stewart's Bella Swan Cullen spend their honeymoon.
R7 Entretenimento reports that about 60 fans camped out in front of the Copacabana Palace for three days hoping to catch a glimpse of the Pattinson-Stewart duo, who left the hotel through the back door.
The Breaking Dawn couple weren't the only ones attracting the attention of Brazilian movie fans.
Terra.com reports that a Vin Diesel fan, who learned the Fast Five actor was also at the Copacabana Palace, was arrested after trying to impersonate a police officer so as to approach the Hollywood star.
Breaking Dawn and Fast Five will inject $5m into Rio's economy, according to RioFilme, an entity that promotes filmmaking in Rio de Janeiro.
