Twilight is now a global fever and much of this is due to the success of their adaptations in film and the actors playing the characters. However, neither Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were considered to play Edward and Bella when they started the auditions.
Ashley Greene , who plays Alice Cullen, often auditioned for the role of Bella Swan, but the directors told him it would be better if they played the sister of Edward.
