It seems Mother Nature wasn’t willing to cooperate with the cast of Breaking Dawn after wrapping up the big honeymoon scene on an island off the coast of Brazil. Production was interrupted by a huge storm leaving the cast stranded on the remote island, the film’s director Bill Condon told Los Angeles Times.
“It was incredible. We got caught in the middle of this huge rainstorm – I’ll remember it forever,” Condon said. “Eighty people sleeping on the floor of the set. We couldn’t leave.”
The cast and crew eventually made is off the island and are finishing up filming in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Vancouver, Canada, for the two-part series, which are due in theaters Nov. 18, 2011, and Nov. 16, 2012.
