"Water for Elephants" Exlusive Pre-Screening in Los Angeles and Michael Event

Get a first look at the gorgeous new film “Water for Elephants”—while getting your premiere party on at a Michael Kors bash before the show.

Gilt City members are invited to embrace all that glitters during this exclusive April 27 event. As champagne flows and tasty apps get passed, guests will get a first look at the Michael Kors Spring 2 collection. You’ll have a chance to win a gorgeous, just-out Kors handbag or a bottle of his heavenly perfume at the in-store raffle—and (natch) you’ll leave with a gift bag.

After the bash, you’ll head to AMC Westfield Century City for a screening of the highly anticipated new film. Set in the Depression, “Water for Elephants” stars Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz as eccentric members of a B-list traveling circus. The story (adapted from Sara Gruen’s bestselling novel) is told from the perspective of Pattinson’s Jacob Jankowski, a veterinarian who joins the ragtag circus and finds redemption in caring for its neglected beasts—especially the big-hearted elephant, Rosie—and in the arms of Marlena.
