American Idol Finalist Paul McDonald Wants to Monkey Around

Saturday, May 21st will boast the last 100 Monkeys concert in Los Angeles (or anywhere near it) at the El Rey Theatre before the outfit gets on the road - and takes it to every corner of this country and Canada on their long-winded, long-anticipated Liquid Zoo World Tour. Those lucky enough to attend will bear witness to two openers: Toy Bombs and Sabrosa Purr. Special guest 2011 American Idol finalist Paul McDonald is scheduled to appear and perform - something not to be missed.

100 Monkeys kicks off a 40+ city US tour in conjunction with House of Blues Entertainment. The tour opens in Cincinnati on June 28 and will also include dates in Dallas, Anaheim, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco and other major cities. The band, which has also been selected as one of LG's "One's to watch" this summer, logged a quick eight day tour over the winter holiday playing to sold out venues in several cities across the southern U.S. and they are more than eager to get back to what they love ... playing for their fans.
"100 Monkeys is an innovative, exciting young band and we are looking forward to working with them," said Tara Traub, Club and Theater Touring, House of Blues Entertainment. "This is part of our continuing commitment showcasing emerging artists and their music in the unique House of Blues environment."

"Liquid Zoo", the band's sophomore album, distributed by Warrior/Universal Music Group will be available June 28. for those whose patience for fresh material is simply unattainable. And, for those with sufficient dough in their pockets, the album may be pre-ordered as well at www.warriorrecords.com/100monkeys . If ever the Website is visited www.100monkeysmusic.com, it is not easy to fray from what one is looking for; in this case, the new, soon to be acclaimed album.
