'Breaking Dawn': Comic-Con premieres Bella-Edward honeymoon footage

The six thousand plus fans at Hall H were not disappointed at the Breaking Dawn panel today. Director Bill Condon, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (with a half-shaved head!) took the stage and wasted little time in showing two exclusive clips from the film. The first featured Taylor Lautner as Jacob negotiating with the Sam-led wolf pack, and how it would be he that would destroy Bella and Edward’s baby (we all know how that turns out).
But the clip that caused some major squeals out in the audience was the majorly anticipated honeymoon scene out on Isle Esme. When Bella and Edward enter the bedroom, an ear-deafening cheer went up as the large white bed was centered on screen (“Feaaaaathers,” one voice shouted from the back of the hall). After Bella tells Edward she needs “a few human minutes” (“Don’t take too long Mrs. Cullen,” Edward replies while an audible swoon swept through Hall H) we see Bella brushing her teeth, her hair, shaving her legs, looking at her suitcase filled with lacy underclothings with panic and telling herself not to be a coward. Cut to a moonlit beach, Bella in a towel and then dropping her towel as we see a shirtless Edward from behind in the water. It is hard to describe just how enthusiastic the fan reaction was, but suffice it to say, it was met with some major approval.
But for the cast, it was the birth scene of Bella and Edward’s baby that seemed to be the collective favorite. The scene took two days too shot, they said, Pattinson liked that it gave him a chance to play Edward out of control for a change. “It was nice to play,” he said. “He’s trying to help, but he doesn’t know what to do. He was totally annihilated by the whole thing.”
Stewart agreed. “I thought it was so cool,” she said. “I think we tried to go as hard core as we could.”
