Former Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre has landed a series regular role in the upcoming CBS medical drama A Gifted Man.
Lefevre is joining the cast of the fall series, about a recently widowed doctor who begins to see visions of his deceased wife. She’ll play Kate, a doctor at the family “clinica” where Dr. Michael Holt (Patrick Wilson) now finds himself spending more and more time, pulled away from his own very upscale hospital.
Lefevre appeared as the sinister vampire Victoria in the first two Twilight films, then was bumped from the third due to a scheduling conflict with an indie film — a producer decision that caused outcry among some fans. She was also another TV medical drama – ABC’s Off the Map.
