LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Taylor Lautner might be one of Hollywood’s biggest movie stars, but when it comes to enjoying himself, the actor loves to spend some time watching the small screen – and possibly singing along!
“I’m a big fan of all those singing competition shows. Most recently, I’ve been into ‘The Voice.’ It’s one of my secrets!” the 19-year-old “Abduction” & “The Twilight Saga” star revealed in the October issue of Seventeen magazine.
“And I’m definitely looking forward to ‘The X Factor,’ especially because I’m a huge Simon Cowell fan,” he continued. “Personally, I sing for fun, but mainly in the shower, when I’m alone. Other people definitely do not want to hear me sing.”
The actor, who will next be seen opposite Lily Collins in “Abduction” on September 23, said he was instantly drawn to his co-star.
“You can feel some sort of chemistry or a connection when you are reading a script with someone for the first time,” he explained. “And that was totally the case with Lily.”
The young star also told the mag that he has his sights set on the ultimate big screen movie honor.
“I believe in the saying, ‘If you aim at nothing, you’re going to hit nothing.’ So if you don’t set goals, then you have nowhere to go. I guess winning an Oscar is the ultimate dream,” he said. “A lot of amazing actors go their whole career without even being nominated. So that would definitely be a goal to reach. It’s a difficult one, but I’m aiming for it!”
