The Apparition, the supernatural thriller from Dark Castle, finally has a release date.
Warner will release the pic, which stars Ashley Greene and Sebastian Stan, on August 24, 2012. The movie had previously been undated.
Todd Lincoln wrote and directed the movie, about a couple who discover they are being haunted by a force accidentally unleashed by a college paranormal experiment and that feeds on their fear.
The move pits the movie against Premium Rush, Columbia’s action thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and more interestingly, a horror movie from Summit titled Sinister and produced by Paranormal Activity’s Jason Blum.
