Ashley says" Look After Your Skin!"

Ashley Greene says it is important to "protect" your skin.

The actress is known for her pale complexion in the Twilight films, in which she plays vampire Alice Cullen.

However, in everyday life Ashley has a bit more colour in her cheeks.

But, the 24-year-old strongly believes it is important to guard delicate skin from harmful UV rays.

"My main beauty tip is SPF," she told British publication Bliss. "Growing up in Florida I took the sun for granted and I didn't stay safe in it - now I know that wherever you are, you need to protect your skin every day."

The brunette beauty also had some handy tips on how to keep hair looking fresh.

The star admitted that her hectic schedule often means she is in too much of a rush to clean her locks.

"My other advice is about baby powder," she explained. "If you haven't got time to wash your hair, sprinkle some on the roots and then just brush it out!"
