Glamour Magazine talks to Ashley at Avon Awards

As if jetting all over the world with Twilight's hottest hunks on a regular basis wasn't enough of a job perk, the lovely Ashley Greene has one more reason to give us a serious case of celebrity envy: A custom-designed wardrobe, courtesy of Donna Karan

I had a chance to catch up with her last night at the highly inspiring Avon Foundation For Women Global Voices For Change Awards, where Ashley--a brand ambassador for Avon's
Marks Cosmetics brand--presented our Editor-in-Chief,Cindi Leive, with an award honoring Glamour's Tell Somebody campaign against relationship violence and domestic abuse.
She was all dolled up for the occasion in a stunning blue satin one-shoulder dress, custom made for her by Donna Karan. And there are a lot more couture pieces by the designer in her future, since she's starring in DKNY's new ad campaign. "Donna Karan will actually make dresses for my premieres, which is incredible," she says. "They're all custom, one of a kind, which is really every girl's dream, right? To get to work with them and create a dress that's made for me is just so cool." And when the big Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I premiere comes to Los Angeles, you can expect to see Ashley in such a number. "The dress we're making for L.A., we're working on it right now, is just really cool."
As for her style philosophy in general, she says she likes to keep things simple. "I've learned to wear what works for me, not just jump on every trend. I like to keep the silhouettes really clean, and not feel like I'm overwhelmed by an outfit." With a body like that, can you blame her!? Find out more about Ashley's involvement with m.powerment by mark and her crusade against dating abuse and partner violence, then tell us what you think of her fashion philosophy! Aren't you jealous of her Donna Karan couture? And how chic is this shade of blue? Discuss!
