Kellan talks to Ryan Secrest

Kellan Lutz called onto On Air With Ryan Seacrest to talk about his new movie “Immortals,” his workout regimen for the movie, and to chat about his relationship status.

Earlier this week Kellan attended the premiere for “Immortals” with a lovely lady on his arm. Kellan confirmed that he is in a very happy relationship with Sharni Vinson and said, “It’s just great to have someone who you just smile with all the time. It’s really special.” Sorry, ladies.

Kellan Lutz Did Not Eat 16 Eggs A Day To Bulk Up For ‘Immortals’

In “Immortals” Kellan plays Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. Even though he has the body of a Greek god, Kellan tells us his workout regimen really wasn’t that strict. However, they did have a nutritionist on the set. “They would bring us small portions of chicken or kale or cashews, just really high in protein and good fats. Then we had an gym open 24/7. So, we could go sweat it out, and then go do our scene,” he says.

Kellan tells us about the first time he saw “Immortals” in the theater. “I saw a screening of it, and I loved it. I love action movies, and I love Greek mythology. Working on this, and seeing it on the screen was great. It’s very action packed, and it’s just such an original story that you kind of get lost in, and you want to know what happens next.”

Today is the opening day for “Immortals,” and a great way to kick off the weekend. “It’s one of those movies that has something for everyone. It has a great romance story between Henry and Freida. Then the action with all the guys, even Mickey Rourke is getting down and dirty and throwing some punches,” he says. Kellan also told us he will be going to a few theaters around L.A. to see the fans and the lines and hopes that he will be able to intro some movies.
