The latest on how Breaking Dawn tickets are trending on Fandango

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1", which opens Thursday night at midnight, has already sold out out more than 2,500 showtimes on Fandango, the nation’s leading moviegoer destination. Theaters owners are reporting sold-out showtimes across the country, from Kahului, Hawaii to Augusta, Maine, while posting additional showtimes to meet the fan demand.

“Breaking Dawn, Part 1” currently represents 93% of today’s ticket sales. According to a Fandango survey of several thousand “Breaking Dawn, Part 1” ticket-buyers:
•             87% have read the book;
•             61% of readers of “Breaking Dawn” say it is their favorite book of the series;
•             72% would like to visit the “Breaking Dawn” filming locations in Louisiana;
•             47% plan to see the movie as part of a group of friends.

As an added bonus to fans, Fandango is hosting a Twitter party (a virtual party using the Twitter platform) live from tonight’s red carpet world premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1”.
