"The Twilight Saga: Breakind Dawn" opens this weekend (Nov. 18), and everyone else is either scared to go up against the uber-popular vampire-romance, or else they're saving their good stuff for next week's full slate of Thanksgiving-week releases. Whatever the case, only one other wide-release movie dares to go up against in this week:

Shot partly in Baton Rouge, it sees its main characters wrestling with the unforeseen consequences of the birth of a child, one who poses a threat to both the Quileute and the Volturi.
The film is a predecessor to "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2," which is scheduled to arrive in theaters in November 2012.
