Kristen & Nikki: From BFF's To Not Such BFF's

Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed used to be BFFs back in the day. Then, they became so-called frenemies. Now that the Twilight Saga is ending, they just hate each other's guts. And, at this late date, their mutually antagonistic feelings toward each other aren't likely to change.

As all good Twi-hards no doubt know, the 2 girls' original friendship turned sour because of--what else--a man; more specifically, Mr.Twilight Heart-Throb himself, Robert Pattinson. It seems Kristen Stewart laid all the blame for R-Pattz and Reed's long ago "fling" on Nikki. According to inside sources, K-Stew, like most women, "never confronted Rob about the affair, she just put the blame on Nikki and accused her of pursuing him." Apparently, Rob, like most guys caught in love triangles, did nothing to ameliorate the situation. In other words, he kept mum and let Nikki take the fall. Typical guy behavior.

In all fairness to Robert Pattinson however, it is doubtful that the 2 women would have remained "BFFs" even if he had never entered the picture. K-Stew and Reed have completely different outlooks on life. Their respective attitudes toward their careers and the effects of their Twilight fame are a prime example. As an inside source recently opined to Star Magazine, Reed considers Kristen Stewart a hypocrite when it comes to stardom. And she finds her hypocrisy infuriating.

"Nikki's the most down-to-earth actress you'll ever meet," explains the insider. "Kristen acts like she can't be bothered with fame, yet she lives for all the press about her and Rob. Nikki is very vocal about Kris not being appreciative of her success. Nikki is not one to censor herself to avoid confrontation, and Kristen does not like that."

Yikes. Between the residual jealousy over Robert Pattinson and the fact that they are totally different personality types with completely opposing world views, it's hard to believe these women were ever anything but at each other's throats. Or perhaps frostily, perfunctorily polite to each other. Right. Like frenemies.

Well there you have it. It's doubtful that the Kristen Stewart-Nikki Reed feud will ever be resolved. What do you i think?

This "Feud" as its being called is getting exhausting. There is defiantly without a doubt some serious tension between KStew and Nikki. Although we love them both i don't really believe any of this Rob Nikki stuff. That's just me though. Either way even if it did happen. It happened in 2009, years ago. So why is all of this getting hashed up now? could it be cause this is the end of Twilight now all the dirty laundrys coming up? Comment below and let us know what you think.
