While he believes the pendulum may one day swing back to “sit-down, serious chats”, he doesn’t think many celebrities warrant them.
“If you look at one of the biggest stars in the world right now – Robert Pattinson – he’s a lovely guy. But with the best will in the world, you wouldn’t want an hour-long, one-on-one interview with him. It’s not his fault, but all he’s really done in his life is get famous.”
