Via Variety, the fact that Chandler Canterbury (Knowing, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button) and Boyd Holbrook (Milk, The Big C) are in final negotiations to take up the parts of "Jamie Stryder" and "Kyle O'Shea" respectively.
The character "Jamie" is the younger brother of the protagonist, "Melanie Stryder"/"Wanda" (which will be portrayed by Saoirse Ronan), and "Kyle" is the vicious brother of "Ian," which will be portrayed by Jake Abel. Max Irons has also been cast in the film as "Jared," "Melanie's" love interest, while William Hurt has been rumored for the role of "Jeb."
The film adaptation is to be written and directed by Andrew Niccol, and a release date has been set for March 29, 2013
