Another actor has joined J.J. Abrams and Supernatural creator Eric Kripke’s new Revolution.
Billy Burke, whose TV credits include The Closer, 24 and Rizzoli & Isles but who is perhaps best known for playing Kristen Stewart’s dad in the Twilight flicks — has been cast in NBC’s Abrams/Kripke-produced hour-long drama pilot.
The thriller is described as a high-octane action drama following a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.
The ensemble also includes Former Breaking Bad evildoer Giancarlo Esposito as a hard-as-steel military man with a genteel southern manner who may not always be what he seems.
