They fell in love while filming the Twilight movies. And yesterday’s Comic-Con event may have provided a potential glimpse into the future for the film’s leading stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Attending a press conference for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, the couple posed alongside their adorable on-screen daughter. As the trio posed together at the San Diego Convention Centre, the perfect family unit could have been a snapshot of the couple in a few year’s time.
Bearing a striking resemblance to both Robert and Kristen, Mackenzie beamed as she stood alongside her on-screen parents. She said in the press conference of the superstar couple: ‘They’re super sweet in real life, they’re amazing actors and amazing people. I’m really lucky to work with them.’ However, the youngster admitted that because of her age, she hasn’t even been allowed to watch two of the Twilight movies. Mackenzie added: ‘I can’t see Breaking Dawn – Part 1 or the third one. I can’t see those.’
The entire cast appeared to be in good spirits at the event, with Kristen, 22, flashing a rare smile as she posed in a lemon mini-skirt and white crop top. Sitting alongside her co-stars, the sci-fi heroine shared a joke with Robert and Mackenzie as they answered questions from the audience.
Despite their time on Twilight having drawn to a close, Kristen admitted she would return to the set tomorrow if she was given the chance. She said: ‘It’s funny. If you told me we had to do re-shoots tomorrow I’d start giggling from happiness. I’d love to go back.’
And although she has now moved on to new projects, the sultry star explained she is happy to be ‘pigeon-holed’ as Bella for the rest of her career. Speaking during the press conference, she added: ‘It’s the hugest compliment. ‘People who call me the Twilight girl and mean it… please, pigeon-hole me. That means I did it right.’
