Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that their comedy, WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING, about the trials and tribulations of pregnancy will be coming to Blu-ray in a Blu-ray/Digital Copy combo pack on September 11th, 2012.
From director Kirk Jones, WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING follows five couples as they go through their nine month journey onto becoming parents. Fitness guru (Cameron Diaz) and celebrity dancer (Matthew Morrison GLEE) find that their celebrity lives are tough to contend with during pregnancy. Author Wendy (Elizabeth Banks THE HUNGER GAMES) and her husband Gary (Ben Falcone BRIDESMAIDS) deal with raging hormones and Gary’s dad (Dennis Quaid) who is expecting twins with his trophy wife Skylar (Brooklyn Decker BATTLESHIP).
While photographer Holly (Jennifer Lopez) and hubby Alex (Rodrigo Santoro REDBELT) struggle with their decisions to adopt a child from another country. Food truck rivals Rosie (Anna Kendrick TWILIGHT) and Marco (Chace Crawford TWELVE) have to deal with a one night stand that lands them on the path to parenthood before they have their first date. Add in the hilarious Daddy Group (Rob Huebel I LOVE YOU MAN, Chris Rock and Thomas Lennon A VERY HAROLD &; KUMAR CHRISTMAS) and you have a potentially charming but formulaic romantic comedy that will either make you smile or vomit.
