'On The Road' UK FREE advance screenings at ODEON

Here’s your chance to get a taste of the red carpet treatment at one of 10 exclusive preview screenings of On the Road (Cert 15), a new film adaptation of the classic Jack Kerouac novel, starring Sam Riley as Sal Paradise, Garrett Hedlund as Dean Moriarty and Kristen Stewart as Marylou. The original book became a definitive cult classic, and is still regularly cited as one of the most important pieces of 20th-century fiction. Its story is based on Kerouac’s travels across the United States in the late Forties, accompanied by friends Neal Cassady, William Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg – who collectively were regarded as pioneers of what became known as the Beat Generation. Directed by Walter Salles, the long-awaited film was nominated in 2012 at both the Cannes Film Festival and the Sydney Film Festival.
