Huffingtonpost (..) But at a fan event for "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" in Tokyo Wednesday, Stewart discussed her "Twilight" heroine's tangled relationships with vampire Edward and werewolf Jacob, revealing that she could relate to Bella's predicament and thus casting a sympathetic light on her own.
"As a woman, I think it's really important not to discredit feelings," she said (via Us Weekly), adding that she understands her character's feelings for more than one man. "There weren't too many difficulties with the whole love triangle thing. I mean, she needs Jacob in her life."
"If you can get past conventions and what everyone else is thinking, then you can have what you want," she continued. "[Bella, Edward and Jacob] get to a point where they get to have everything and that's nice."
While Stewart appears to have reconciled with Pattinson in real life, some moviegoers are still rooting for his onscreen nemesis.
"I've made my decision.... #TeamJacob," Larry King tweeted last week.
