Elle Red Carpet Report: Twilight Premiere

From Elle UK: This evening in London’s Leicester Square Robert Pattinson,Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautnergreeted thousands of fans as they walked the red carpet at the final UK premiere of Twilight.Peaches Geldof and Jamie Campbell Bower were also in attendance.

On the incredible fan support Stewart explained that it is overwhelming. ‘It’s so not normal for any actor, it’s not normal for any person to share something like this. It’s insane, amazing and contagious. To sustain energy on one project for five years is pretty remarkable and we wouldn't have been able to do that if we were the only fans of it.’

Wearing a black lace jumpsuit with beaded embellishment by Zuhair Murad – whose gold and nude gown she wore to the LA premiere earlier this week – Stewart looked sensational. And her trainers were nowhere to be seen! With Louboutin clad feet Stewart was embracing a more glamourous look from head to toe.

The final installment of the Twilight saga sees Stewart and Pattinson’s characters become parents. So what was it like working with Mackenzie Foy who plays their daughter? ‘Working with kids, everything is very spontaneous, which is great’ said Pattinson. ‘She’s one of the coolest kids I’ve ever met’ added Stewart.

It may be the end of an era but it’s a long, loud goodbye from the fans at the UK premiere. Pattinson was happy to be on home turf but admitted ‘I’m a little bit in a daze but it’s amazing’
