"It was a bittersweet evening as the “Twilight” phenomenon came to a Hollywood close with a final world premiere at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″. Kristen Stewart was all smiles as she greeted devoted fans as she stepped out on the black carpet alongside her costars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and author Stephenie Meyer.
The 22-year-old left little to the imagination in her see-through Zuhair Murad nude strapless lace and chiffon panel gown, from the Fall-Winter 2012 collection. It’s always a risk wearing a dress that basically looks like you’re naked, but I think Kristen pulled this off to the point of it being dangerous and sexy without looking desperate. She really pushed the envelope on this one, but hey, it’s the last premiere…go big or go home. Seriously—check out that back! I’m glad she removed the feathers at the hem.
Typically, I’m not a fan of nude dresses as they run the possibility of looking washed out with camera lightning. With Kristen’s fair complexion and auburn hair, I’m sure she will suffer from that in many images from tonight—but, I think this shot captured her true look in a very beautiful light.
Speaking of her hair, Kristen’s long locks were volumized and gathered to the side for a spark of striking old Hollywood glamour, but my favorite part was the braided detail at the opposite side. No element was left ignored. As for her make-up, shimmering gold shadow complimented her dress while a burst of vibrant hot pink gave her a nice pop of color. Kristen also ported glittering gold nail polish, “Delight” by Chanel.
Kristen stuck with her usual jewelry tokens, including her Cartier “Juste Un Clou” nailhead bangle and her Iwona Ludyga Designs red and gold beaded tribe flag bracelet. She then finished off with non-distracting nude open toe platform “Vibe” pumps by Jimmy Choo. She wore these same heels in black for the “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ premiere last year!
For a girl who everyone thought they all had figured out, Kristen has continued to surprise me with her ever-changing taste in styles over the last year. I can’t wait to see where she’s headed next—apparently, the sky is the limit!"
