The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones - Trailer por eOneFilms
MTV If you're anything like us, you've no doubt watched the just-released trailer for "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" about 87 times now. Because despite being labeled as a teaser, there's a lot to look at (and love!) in this sneak peek. From Clary and Jace's Pandemonium-ous meeting to a Shadowhunter showdown against a hotel full of bloodthirsty vamps, this first look is jam-packed. So much so, that we've compiled a list of five things you may have missed upon first, second or even 87th viewing.
The Morgenstern Ring
Fine, fine. We'll admit that even we didn't spot this bauble—author Cassandra Clare was kind enough to point it out on her Tumblr. Now, if memory serves, Jace actually wears the family heirloom on a chain until gifting it to Clary later on, but we don't think such a small deviation is anything to quibble over. (Or, perhaps this is actually Valentine's hand we're seeing?)
Simon Shirtless
There's not really much more to say about actor Robert Sheehan doffing his top besides YESTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE.
Jace and Valentine battle
It's quick (not to mention blurry), but in two separate shots from the trailer, you can see Jace taking on big-bad Valentine, and as Cassie told us recently that really is Jamie Campbell Bower and Jonathan Rhys Meyers sparring—no stunt doubles here.
A Silent Brother
I initially mistook this creature for a demon (because WHOA TERRIFYING) until I realized he's actually one of the Silent Brothers—the Shadowhunters' most revered scholars, who reside (fittingly) in the Silent City.
Clary's Rune
There's no way you could have missed the glowing rune branded into Clary's hand at the end of the trailer, but what you may not know (and what Cassie told us during her trailer commentary), is that the designers on set actually utilized the author's pre-existing collection of runes, which she commissioned years ago. Yay for authenticity!
