ecouterre Olga Kurylenko and Kellan Lutz turned the Oscar red carpet green at the 86th Academy Awards on Sunday. Kurylenko donned a cruelty-free column gown by Alice Elia, the winner of Suzy Amis Cameron’s “Red Carpet Green Dress” competition. Crafted from 100 percent Global Organic Textile Standard-certified organic “peace silk,” the dress receives its crimson hue from sappanwood and madder root. Lutz, for his part, wore an H Brothers tuxedo designed by Jomnarn Dul using fibers derived from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
