Tinsel Korey CMR Interview

Photobucket
Tinsel Korey recently sat down with CMR (Current Movie Review) to talk her new movie Stained. In Tinsel's new movie Stained she plays a bookseller who has a few skeletons in her closet.

When asked about the movie the actress said “It was very intense. It was a challenge and it pushed me to go into a place some actors don’t want to go.” She took the challenge head on and like all her other film projects, gave it her all and enjoyed the journey. While it was an emotional roller coaster, she described the movie as “captivating, emotional, and moving”.

The very talented Canadian actress also talked her music. Her song Letter which told the story of a friend who was in a very difficult situation. The song is both catchy and touching. After Twilight's over, no matter where Tinsel Korey goes she will always be a star to us. With her talent her grace and her sheer kindness is a wonder her fans love her.

Photobucket
Check out dose.ca's quick and informative Q&A with 'Twilight Saga' music supervisor, Alexandra Patsavas:
"The Twilight Saga Soundtracks Volume 1, a collection of music videos and never-before-seen live performances of songs included on the three Twilight Saga soundtracks, arrives in stores Dec. 4, the same day that the Twilight Saga: Eclipse DVD drops. And while the DVD release gives Twilight completists a reason to update their holiday wish-lists, it also gave Dose.ca the opportunity to speak with the series’ music supervisor. Here, Patsavas shares some info on what it takes to make a Twilight soundtrack and why no artist -- no matter who -- would ever surprise her by asking to be part of the series."

R-Patz Plans To Relaunch His Music Career!

Good news for the Robsessed...

Calling all you Twihards out there! Robert Pattinson has revealed he's planning to relaunch his music career, and soon!

Now some of you might already know that R-Patz is a bit of musical genius; not only did he write and record a song for the Twilight soundtrack, he also played the piano in the film when Edward performed 'Bella's Lullaby'. But sadly his musical ambitions have since been pushed by the wayside thanks to his non-stop acting schedule

And despite previous reports that Rob was set to record a whole album filled with his soulful warblings, it seems the plans were put on hold after he lost his music mojo.

He told Showbiz Spy: "When I sit down to write some lyrics it just sounds like rubbish. All the songs I've done before were based on as much of a stream of consciousness as you can get"

We hope Rob's relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart hasn't led him to lose focus, because back in the day young R-Patz was a regular at open-mic nights where he relished the challenge of making up lyrics on the spot. Alas, he claims those days are well and truly over now all his time is spent on movie sets.

But there's still some good news for the Robsessed! Although you won't catch him gigging in your local working man's club these days, R-Patz has hopes to work on his music again when he gets a break from filming.

He said: "I think I'll try and write some music, hopefully by the end of the year."

About time too Robert! You certainly wouldn't suck as a popstar!

Do you think R-Patz should pursue his musical ambitions or stick to acting instead?

Emilie de Ravin talks music and mentions Rob

Her character on Lost might have fallen for a rock star, but the musical tastes of Australian actress Emilie de Ravin are much more than groupie-deep. Here, the 28-year-old -- whose next project, Remember Me, (out March 12) finds her canoodling with Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson -- reveals the contents of her iPod, including a certain gangsta rap outfit she discovered thanks to RPatz himself.

Name a song you've listened to in the last 24 hours.
Black Mountain's "Angels." It's psychedelic but very emotional. They sound like an old-school band that has been brought into the present day.

..What was the last concert you attended?
The most memorable was Coachella in 2007. Everyone from Willie Nelson to the Black Keys was there. It's frustrating because there were always at least three bands I wanted to see at any given time, but my friends had drawn up a very strict itinerary. Peter Bjorn and John had the best vibe going.

What's the first album that you bought with your own money?
It was the Beatles' "Red" and "Blue" albums. My parents are on the older side, so they weren't even big fans, but I think they were happy I wasn't buying Kris Kross.

Do you have a go-to karaoke song?
"Heartbreaker" by Pat Benatar. She balances passion and aggression. And people will jump in and sing along, which makes me feel more confident.

What album would we be surprised to learn is in your collection?
N.W.A's Straight Outta Compton. I think [Remember Me costar] Rob Pattinson introduced me to them.

What song was playing during your first kiss?
Oasis' "Wonderwall." I was about 13. The song was much better than the kiss.

What's your favorite music to drive to?
Zeppelin's The Song Remains the Same. It's not like I'll put it on every time I get in the car, but it's very freeing.

Name a playlist on your iPod.
I made a '90s mix when I was in New York with Eagle-Eye Cherry, Jimmy Eat World, and Weezer.

Who comes after Radiohead on your iPod?
Rooney. I'm not sure I've listened to them in a while. The Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack comes next, and that I listen to a lot.

What album did you worship in high school?
Alanis Morissette. Every girl must own Jagged Little Pill.

What's the first concert you attended?
My earliest memory is seeing Michael Jackson in Melbourne with my sister when I was about ten. I still have this souvenir stick with a glove that would light up and make a peace sign in a bunch of different colors. I'm so happy my mom didn't throw that out.
