New Movie Anna Kendrick: Pilgrim vs. The World In theaters August 13th, 2010

Svensk översättning i slutet efter hoppet.

Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera). A bass guitarist for garage band Sex Bob—omb, the 22—year—old has just met the girl of his dreams...literally. The only catch to winning Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him. Genre—smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker’s quest to power up with love in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Scott Pilgrim has never had a problem getting a girlfriend. It’s getting rid of them that proves difficult. From the girl who kicked his heart’s ass—and now is back in town—to the teenage distraction he’s trying to shake when Ramona rollerblades into his world, love hasn’t been easy. He soon discovers, however, his new crush has the most unusual baggage of all: a nefarious league of exes controls her love life and will do whatever it takes to eliminate him as a suitor. As Scott gets closer to Ramona, he must face an increasingly vicious rogues’ gallery from her past—from infamous skateboarders to vegan rock stars and fearsome identical twins. And if he hopes to win his true love, he must vanquish them all before it really is game over.

Taylor Lautner Teams Up With John Singleton For "Abduction"

Taylor Lautner has a rather full dance card, with at least four announced film projects on the horizon, but the "Twilight" star has closed in on one in particular for his next movie: "Abduction," directed by John Singleton.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Singleton will direct Lautner in "Abduction," a thriller set to begin production in Pittsburgh in July. Lautner stars as a teenager who learns that the parents he's known for his entire life aren't his real parents after all, leading to a series of deadly events that the protagonist must navigate as he runs for his life.

Lautner will reportedly work on "Abduction" as his next project before reprising his role as teenage werewolf Jacob Black in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," the planned final installment (or installments, as it's rumored to be split into two films) of Summit Entertainment's massively successful vampire franchise.

In addition to "Abduction" and the "Twilight" sequel, Lautner is set to take the lead in "Cancun," a spring-break martial-arts thriller that draws inspiration from Liam Neeson's "Taken" and Bruce Willis' "Die Hard" series. The actor has also secured the starring role in "Stretch Armstrong," a superhero film based on the popular Hasbro action figure. Lautner was briefly attached to another toy franchise, "Max Steel," but he has since abandoned the project in order to focus his attention on "Armstrong."

Beyond the forthcoming "Abduction," director John Singleton is best known for his work on 1991's "Boyz n the Hood" and 2005's "Four Brothers" with Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese Gibson.
