Celebuzz: Tinsel Korey Dishes on the Testosterone-Charged Wolf Pack!

Photobucket
Tinsel Korey has a job most women would die for: She spent hours every day working alongside the shirtless hunks of the Twilight wolf pack, keeping Taylor Lautner and the boys in check. Tinsel, who plays the role of Emily Young in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Eclipse and the upcoming Breaking Dawn films, portrays the strong and beautiful yet scarred fiancée of Sam Uley (Chaske Spencer) and motherly caretaker of the unruly wolf pack.
The multi-talented actress took time to chat with Celebuzz about how Twilight changed her life, how she dealt with “a lot of testosterone on set” and what we can expect from her in the years to come. With a new song, “Letter,” and several films in the works, Tinsel’s got a lot more in store!

Since filming has wrapped for the Breaking Dawn films, how does it feel to see the end of the Twilight Saga? What will you miss the most?
I will definitely miss the closeness between me and the boys, and obviously Julia [Jones]. We are very much a family and I always think of filming sort of like summer school – you develop all these great friendships and connections and you hope that you’ll be able to keep in touch and hang out. But, you know, life normally moves in different directions. I hope that we’ll stay really close. It’s kind of a bittersweet ending.

What was it like auditioning for the role of Emily?
I mean it was like a regular audition. I actually thought I’d messed it up, so I was mortified, like “Oh my god, I suck as an actor” (laughs), and then the next day I was short-listed. You can never really grasp how you do in an audition, at all.

What has it been like being a part of such a wildly successful franchise?
It’s awesome! It’s done great things for me, and I’ve developed such great relationships with the cast members. And also, just meeting the fans – to me that was one of the most beautiful things about this journey, getting to interact with the fans. I’ve met some really, really, great amazing people through this process.

Twi-hards are famous for being incredibly dedicated fans. Do you have any stories about your encounters with them?
I don’t have any crazy stories, like the boys do. With the boys, people have grabbed them and stuff like that, but I’m a female so they don’t get like that with me, they’re really respectful. So I don’t have any personal crazy fan encounters with any of the Twi-hards.

Charlie Bewley: First Trailer for LIKE CRAZY (youtube)

The first trailer for the indie romantic drama Like Crazy has been released. The film premiered at Sundance earlier this year and stars Anton Yelchin, Felicity Jones and Jennifer Lawrence. If you’re expecting a romantic comedy, then you’re in for a bit of a shock. The trailer is an uber-downer, and kind of crushing. It doesn’t give much away in terms of story, but it’s safe to say it won’t be anywhere near a “feel good movie of the year” list. Matt wasn’t a huge fan of the movie when he caught it at Sundance, but Steve liked it more. I like the actors involved and I’m intrigued enough by the trailer, I just may need to immediately follow the film up with a Disney movie of some sort to prevent a lapse into depression.

Kellan Lutz: Why I Didn’t Want The Role Of Edward Cullen!

Can you imagine a Twilight without Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen? Or even more bizarre — one where Kellan Lutz played Bella’s brooding vampire love? Kellan reveals he never wanted to do Twilight in the first place, and even more interesting, he specifically turned down multiple auditions for the part of Edward. “I turned down the audition a couple of times,” Kellan confessed. Why wouldn’t he want to play the starring role?He said it was too “depressing”! (We beg to differ).

“My agent wanted me to read for Edward and I read the script and thought that character was too depressing for me right now, I want to do something where I smile,” Kellan explained to JustJared. “I wanted to take a break from acting [...] I spent so much time filming in Africa, seven months, and that’s a long time to be away from your family and dogs.”

So what made him change his mind and read for big, bulky, charming Emmett? “Ryan, my agent at the time, really knew it was going to be a special project so he told me to read the role of Emmett, and I read it, it was only about four lines, but he was the big brother, the comedic relief and I fell in love with him. I said ‘Sure, I would love to play this type of role’. I auditioned, and long story short, here I am finishing the saga and Emmett is going to be in my heart forever.”

Wow — how different would Twilight have been with Kellan as Edward? Can you even picture it? We’re glad everything worked out in the way it did, Kellan makes for a great Emmett! Sound off below on Emmett’s story — do you think it was rude to call the role depressing?

Kellan Lutz almost auditioned to be Edward instead of Emmett Cullen in ‘Twilight’, but ended up turning down the audition ‘multiple times’. Find out why!

Prople: Kellan Lutz's Dating Secret Weapon: The Cosmo Horoscope

Photobucket

Before he was a movie star, Kellan Lutz was just a regular guy, looking for advice about girls wherever he could find it.

"I would read the [horoscopes] in the back of Cosmo when I was younger to see what girls like, or which girls I should date," the Twilight actor, 26, tells PEOPLE.
These days, a little color might help boost his confidence when it comes to the opposite sex.
"I feel like I'm full of my vitamin C now," the single star jokes of no longer having to be vampire-pale. "It feels amazing!"
But his superstitious nature goes beyond astrology.
"I always look at the clock at 11:11," he added at the DKNY Sunglass Soiree in Manhattan July 26. "I always make a wish or say a prayer. I believe in stuff like that." The numbers also happen to add up to an important date for the actor.
Lutz is starring in Immortals, in which he plays the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon, set for release on 11/11/11.

Adds the actor: "I think it's an amazing date."
