Robert Pattinson has hinted that his ideal director for the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn would be two-time Oscar nominated Gus Van Sant.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Van Sant is one of three high-profile directors who have been reportedly approached to produce the final installment of the vampire saga as well as Sofia Coppola and Bill Condon.
Pattinson previously told MTV News US that he thinks Van Sant would be the perfect choice as: "He shoots everything in Portland. He's good at making it look beautiful."
R-Pattz added this would be ideal for Breaking Dawn as: "It's all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus Van Sant would be great."
However, a decision on the director will reportedly have to wait until the script for Breaking Dawn is finished. It is thought the final film could be split into two parts – giving all you Twihard fans an extra helping of the vampire phenomenon.
Rob’s Twilight co-star and rumoured girlfriend Kristen Stewart also spoke to our US news team, disclosing her excitement over the three supposed directors.
She said: “I'm glad that's out and about, I didn't know that was something that people knew."
K-Stew, who is busy promoting new film The Runaways - where she plays US rocker Joan Jett - also revealed to a US talk show the trials and tribulations of ditching Twilight’s Bella Swan to play the rock star.
Stewart said: "It could never be fun for me to be a rock star because I'm not one. I felt some pressure, especially for the performances because she has such a distinct voice,"
She added: "She is on fire. She stares the audience down. I've never seen anything like it and you don't know you can do it until you do it for the first time."
Best stick to vampires then K-Stew…
