Apparently, when you get to make out with your costars in real life, filming those kinds of scenes just isn't as much fun. We all should have such draining day jobs, huh?
Robert Pattinson was on Live With Regis & Kelly yesterday and revealed to the hosts how the Breaking Dawn cast really felt when the director yelled "cut" for the final time last week...
"It was a very long shoot. We were working over eight months, and it was hard, so by the end of it, I think everybody was like ‘Ah, get me out!' " R.Pattz dished on the popular, perky show. "We're all finished, it's all done."
So did the cast have some crazy keg-stand contest to let loose and celebrate the end of a very vigorous shooting schedule?
"No, not really. It was kind of anti-climactic," revealed Rob. "I finished on a night shoot, flew straight here and did the premiere yesterday for a very different movie."
That "very different movie" would obviously be Water for Elephants, in which the onetime vampire plays an orphaned vet who joins a traveling circus.
Sound like Rob is having a bit of an identity crisis?
"Yeah, I don't know who I am anymore, at all," said Rob, half-jokingly. "I still haven't understood what it is to not be doing Twilight movies every three months."
We don't think it will be that much of a shock to the system, Rob. I mean, you do have K.Stew officially on your arm now, and at least the two of you can lament together.
But if you do need a shoulder to cry on, we're here for you, R. Just sayin'.
