Kellan Lutz, known best for his role as Emmett Cullen in the wildly popular “Twilight” series, has an immortal sense of fashion. The model-turned-’vampire’ not only looks fantastic on-screen, but knows how to stay stylish off-screen as well. He is launching his own fashion line called Abbot + Main this month, a collaboration with Dylan George founder Danny Guez in which he is both a designer and a model.

Mimicking his personal style, the collection exudes a sense of cool, casual, comfort. It features knit wear and tee-shirts in neutral colors and live-in fabrics. Lutz wanted to create something that men could feel good in. He says, “It’s all about the quality of the fabric, how soft it is and feeling comfortable in what you’re wearing.” In addition to the men’s casual wear line this fall, Lutz also plans to release an Abbot + Main line for women in the spring of 2012 with the same concept behind it.

It’s this very same philosophy that shapes Lutz’s personal style as well. Though many would prefer to see him shirt less, on the occasions that he is clothed, he pulls off simple looks with an air of refinement. He can make a simple henley look good or rock a simple button down and cardigan. He tends to lean towards the neutrals in his clothing choices, but shows that the most classic colors and cuts are sometimes the best. From his most casual choice to his most formal, Kellan keeps it down-to-earth. There are no dramatic frills to his look, but he doesn’t need them. He has a clean-cut look and his basic pairings work well with the casual, confident air that he exudes. His commitment to the simple yet fashionable is what prompts us to give him his VAINSTYLE inauguration. Kellan Lutz’s style shows us that sometimes simplicity is not only the most livable, but the most fashionable as well.
