MyAnna Buring joins ‘Downton Abbey’ Christmas special

hypable One of the many vampires present in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be enlisting in the staff of our favourite Abbey.

MyAnna Buring (who plays Tanya Denali in the latter two Twilight films) will play a feisty servant named Edna in the this year’s Christmas special. The Swedish actress will be joined byBad Girls star Simone Lahbib as another of the servants. Speaking to The Sunday Times, Buring compared her roles in Twilight and Downton Abbey: “You couldn’t get two projects more different. I was thrilled when the Downton offer came.”

The third series of Downton Abbey will air in the U.K. this September, the American broadcast will follow next January.
