examiner Jamie Campbell Bower has some considerable experience living in franchise-land thanks to the "Twilight Saga" and his short stint in "Harry Potter," but with "The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones" on the rise for release this August, he'll be taking an even bigger leap into the zeitgeist -- assuming, that is, that Cassie Clare fans are able to accept him as their hunky series leader Jace Wayland.
"I like his sarcasm," Bower said of his favorite characteristic of Jace. Indeed, the character has no shortage of one word zingers to throw about throughout the adventure, but for Bower there's also a softer side in there to relish.
"I like his vulnerability [too]," Bower added. "I think that's really, really connected with me in a strange way, just this horrible feeling that he has inside of him. I love that."
